Saint Martin's Church in Kazimierz Biskupi - a Roman Catholic parish church in the village of Kazimierz Biskupi. It is located in Kościelna Street, where, according to tradition, the hermitage of Matthew - one of the Five Brothers Martyrs - was located.
The church, originally Romanesque from the second half of the 12th century, was built of granite and sandstone. The first mention of the church comes from Dlugosz's "Annals", who wrote about giving Kazimierz to the Lubusz bishopric by Henry the Bearded in 1237. Over the centuries it underwent reconstructions - today we can find traces of a Romanesque portal in the southern wall and stonework marks - a cross on the base and a cross on the circle. Around 1512 rebuilt in the late Gothic style from the foundation of Bishop Lubrański. Burned down by the Swedes at the beginning of the 18th century, rebuilt. In 1859 enlarged. From the romanesque church preserved apse, walls of the presbytery and lower parts of the nave walls. From the south the Romanesque portal has been bricked up. Rococo interior furnishings from the first half of the eighteenth century, in the main Baroque altar there is a seventeenth century painting of the Mother of God with the Child, in the dress from 1766, side altars - Rococo. The altar on the left is dedicated to the Five Brothers Martyrs, with a silver coffin containing the relics of the saints. On the ceiling there is a polychrome from the middle of the 19th century - a hagiography of five martyrs from Miedzyrzecz. Their killers are depicted in spades. In the church there is also a late Gothic statue of the Virgin Mary and a stone baptismal font from the 16th century.
