The John of Glogow bench in Glogow is a modest monument dedicated to the medieval scholar, teacher of Nicolaus Copernicus. It has the form of a monumental bench fashionable in recent decades. It was unveiled in 2007 at Wolności Avenue in Głogów, at the edge of the square bearing the name of the scholar from the Kraków Academy. The work was made in polymer resin technique. The material turned out to be extremely fragile, besides numerous cracks, it bears traces of numerous vandalisms.
The figure of John sits at the left end of the bench. On the scholar's right thigh lies a card with the inscription: ON THE 500TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE DEATH / OF / JAN OF GŁOGÓW / ASTRONOMER / MATHEMATICIAN / PHILOSOPHER / TEACHER / MIKOŁAJ KOPERNIK / INHABITANTS / GŁOGÓW / A.D. 2007.
