Fisherman's Fountain - fountain in Sopot, located near the bottom of the representative promenade of the city, Bohaterów Monte Cassino Street.
The fountain was unveiled on April 5, 1998 at the Friends of Sopot Square. It was designed by the architect Brunon Wandtke and sculptor Stanislaw Szwechowicz. Fountain crowned with a sculpture height 240 cm, representing a young man with a basket of fish on his head. This figure is a replica of a century-old sculpture of unknown authorship, which until 1998 stood in one of Sopot's gardens on Dworcowa Street. Currently, another replica stands in the same place, while the original was moved to the City Council meeting room.
In 2010, due to the reconstruction of the square Friends of Sopot, the sculpture with the fountain was dismantled and placed in storage. After the renovation of the square in Bohaterów Monte Cassino Street, the sculpture with a new fountain was placed on it in 2014.
