Palace in Miłosław - a historic palace in Miłosław, in Września County, Greater Poland Province.
It is located in the southern part of the city.
Originally a Neo-Renaissance villa, built in the first decade of the nineteenth century to a design by Karl Friedrich Schinkel, extended in 1843-1844 and again in 1895-1899.
Mielżyński and later Kościelski families realized idea of "open house". The palace in Miloslaw hosted among others Wincenty Pol: Wincenty Pol, Teofil Lenartowicz, Władysław Syrokomla, Józef Ignacy Kraszewski, Henryk Sienkiewicz, Władysław Reymont, Henryk Wieniawski, Julian Fałat, and Leon Wyczółkowski.
In 1882 a museum with a gallery of paintings collected by the Mielżyński family was opened in the palace. Later it was given, together with a rich bibliophilic and numismatic collection, to the Poznań Society of the Friends of Science. The palace was burned down in 1945 by the retreating German Nazis. The post-war reconstruction only restored the outer classicist appearance of the palace. In the postwar years it housed various public institutions, currently it is home to Juliusz Słowacki Grammar School.
