Facts and practical information

Vovnushki is a medieval complex of Ingush defense and guard towers. It is a unique monument of Ingush architecture, part of the Jeyrakh-Assi State Historical-Architectural and Natural Museum-Reserve. It is situated in the Jeirakh high-mountainous region of modern Ingushetia. The towers of Vovnushka also belong to the ancestral towers of the Ingush Ozdoy teip. The first reliable descriptions of the Vovnushki come from the early 18th century.
