The monument to Cat Kazansky was unveiled in Kazan in 2009.

The monument is located in the middle of the central pedestrian street Bauman. The metal sculptural-architectural composition is 3 meters high and 2.8 meters wide. It is a stately figure of a well-fed cat lying on a couch in a pavilion with a mouse on a hipped roof. The sculpture is tinted in the color of old silver, which has always been a favorite metal of Kazan citizens. Columns and the dome of the structure are decorated with colored glass and pieces of mirrors. At the foot is engraved the phrase "The cat of Kazan: the mind of Astrakhan, the mind of Siberia...". The monument cost about a million rubles was made by sponsors-businessmen with the support of the city administration and has become one of the attractions and one of the symbols of the city.
