Monastery of the Dormition of the Mother of God, Dałmatowski Monastery - Orthodox Men's Monastery in Dałmatów, in the Szadrinna Eparchy of the Russian Orthodox Church.
The creator of the monastery was a monk, a Siberian Cossack, who left his first monastery near Wierchoturia after 1642 and initiated a new community on the banks of the ISET River. Dałmat gave the management to his students - in 1669 the brothers chose Nikon monk at Ihumena, then Józef and Atanazy, while the founder of the community died in 1697. The monastery belonged to the first major centers of Orthodoxy after the Urals and one of his main tasks was conducting a missionary action. He was attacked several times, among others by Kałmuk and Tatars, he was also besieged during the uprising of Pugaczów.
The first complex of monastery facilities was built of wood and consisted of the church of the Dormition of the Mother of God, Saint. Dymitr from the salons and the topping of St. John the theologian. Separate facilities were the goals of monks and outbuildings. The stone church of the Dormition of the Mother of God was built on a wooden site in 1704, then the monastery was also surrounded by walls. Work on erecting masonry outbuildings and residential buildings lasted until 1852.
After the October Revolution, the monastery was liquidated. In its area there were a museum, orphanage, kolkhoz theater and dance square, school, hospital and machinery factory. The monastery began to act again after the collapse of the USSR. The monks deal with educational and educational work, conduct a center for people addicted to drugs, cooperate with the museum in Kurkan and other historical and cultural institutions.
