Uspenskij sobor, Veliky Ustyug

The Council of Dormition of the Mother of God - the Orthodox Council in the Great Ustiugu, historically the Department of the Grandist Eparchy of the Russian Orthodox Church. Currently unused liturgically.

It is located on Suchony, on Soborowy Square, and creates one complex of sacred architecture with the 17th-century Saint. Prokopiusz, the nineteenth-century church of St. John, a nineteenth-century refectory church and a belfry erected at the turn of the 17th/18th century.
