Monastery of the Kazan icon of the Mother of God - the female Orthodox monastery in Wybnia Wołoczok, in the Twerska Eparchy.
In 1881, the monastery founded a dandelion of a lot, which at the time of its creation headed a community of 24 sisters. Monastery buildings were erected in a Russian-Bizantic style; This investment was financed by private donors. In 1882, work was completed on the Main Council, dedicated to the Kazan icon of the Mother of God, designed by A. Kaminski. The nuns led a hospital for eight people, at which the church of the Bogolub icon of the Mother of God was erected. As the numbers increased, the monastery complex was expanded: residential buildings, iconist studio, supervisor's house and farm buildings were created, and finally the churches of St. Efrem Syrian and Saint. Neonili and Saint. Elijah and Saint. Pantelemon. Even in the years 1897–1901, a second council of the Andronik icon of the Mother of God was created, and then the Pilgrim's house, shelter and refectory. A cemetery for the deceased nuns, orchard and garden was arranged against the wall of the Council. At the beginning of the 20th century, the monastery in Wołnim Wołoczek was the largest female monastery in the Twerska and Kaszyńska Eparchy, counting 600 nuns.
The monastery was the purpose of numerous pilgrimages of tsarist family members, including Aleksander III with his wife Maria Fyodorna. The later Saint Fr. Jan Siergiev. The monastery was deleted in 1919, and a military unit was deployed in its buildings. In Soviet times, the orchard, garden and monastery cemetery were destroyed. Dome was removed from monastery churches and all equipment was removed from them.
On January 29, 1991, by the decree of Bishop of Tver and Kaszyński Wiktor, the Monastery was reactivated by the Saint Synod of the Russian Orthodox Church. The duties of his supervisor fulfill the Igumnia Teodor, which heads the community of 11 dands and obedience. The monastery buildings are still under renovation.
