Fort No. 8 King Friedrich I is one of the forts that made up the ring of defense of Königsberg. It was named in honor of the Prussian king Friedrich I. It is located near the intersection of Bolshaya Okruzhnaya Street and Kaliningrad Highway. The fort was built in 1894.
