Steel Way is a memorial in the Leningrad region, part of the Green Belt of Glory.
Dedicated to the railroad track, built in 1943 from Polyany to Shlisselburg 33 kilometers long, which connected the besieged Leningrad with the country during the Great Patriotic War and allowed to supply the city with necessary goods and food. The construction lasted less than a month - from January 18 to February 7, 1943.
Built in 1973 at the railroad station Petrokrepost near the village of Morozov. Authors of the project: architect I.G. Yavein, sculptor G.D. Glikman.
