Znamensky Church, Khasavyurt

Church of the icon of the Mother of God "Znak" - an Orthodox church in Chasawjurt, in the Machaczek Eparchy.

Established in 1903, the church was open until 1940, when it was adapted to the warehouse. She performed this function for three years, to an accidental fire that completely destroyed its interior. Then the authorities agreed to return the building to the Russian Orthodox church. After the renovation is underway, a modern iconostasis was inserted into the facility, which replaces the former rich interior decoration.
