The Subotica Synagogue stands as a beacon of history and architectural grandeur in the city of Subotica, Serbia. This remarkable edifice, an outstanding example of Hungarian Art Nouveau architecture, was built in 1902 and is known for its distinctive style and decorative features.

Designed by Hungarian architects Marcell Komor and Dezső Jakab, the synagogue is part of the cultural heritage of the once thriving Jewish community in the region. Its design is characterized by an intricate combination of geometric patterns and floral motifs, which are hallmarks of the Jugendstil, the German variant of Art Nouveau.
