The ďurková shelter - tourist hostel in Slovakia, in the Low Tatras. It is located in the upper part of the Łomnista valley, at an altitude of 1640 m on the south-eastern slopes of the ďurková peak. It is also known as útulňa pod Chabencom or Chata ďurková. On older tourist maps it is marked as Salaš pod Chabencom or Chabenecký Salaš, because then it was a shepherd hut. It is currently a new tourist hostel.
At the march, the main ridge of the Niżne Tatras is allowed to sleep according to the regulations of the Niżne Tatry National Park only in some places. One of them is the ďurková shelter. It is a common goal at the transition of the main ridge of the eastern part of the Niżne Tatra Mountains. It is located in a large hall and is clearly visible from the tourist trail leading the main ridge of the Low Tatra Mountains. 40 people can spend a maximum of it. He has sleeping bunks, tables, benches, a veranda. Next to it is a good and efficient source of drinking water. Accommodation is paid.
The hostel is available both in summer and winter. In the case of taking all beds, it is possible to sleep on the porch or break your own tents next to the shelter.
