Church Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Nowa Wieś Spiska - a church in Nowa Wieś Spiska built in the second half of the fourteenth century. Then rebuilt and rebuilt several times. The last reconstruction took place at the end of the 19th century. As a result of which the soaring, neo -Gothic culmination of the tower, with gallery and pinacles was added. Noteworthy is the sculptural decoration of the tympanum, depicting the coronation of the Virgin Mary. The interior architecture is dominated by a neo -Gothic, in particular, the Gothic star vault draws attention.
The church tower, on a square throw, was rebuilt in 1892–1893 according to the plans of the Hungarian architect, Professor Imre Steindl. On its four walls there are as many as seven hourly discs, driven by one common clock mechanism. Above the gallery, the tower circulating in the upper part, wooden statues of four evangelists, 3.25 m high and a mass of 800 kg, are placed in the corners.
There are five bells on the tower. The oldest, with a diameter of 92 cm, comes from 1486; It was made by the Nowowiejski Lubbleer Johann Wagner. The two largest bells: Urban with a diameter of 2.06 m and weighing 5320 kg and Concordia with a diameter of 1.64 m and a weight of 2576 kg was made by the grunt Andreas Schaudt from Budapest. The youngest bells: Piotr with a diameter of 1.43 m and medians with a diameter of 1.18 m come from 1930. And they were performed by the Fischer's belfry from Trnawa.
