Facts and practical information
The Fiestero monument is a sculpture located in the Park of the Spanish city of Málaga.
Its author is Miguel García Navas. It was inaugurated in 1998 and pays homage to the autochthonous musical genre of the verdiales, typical of several regions of the province of Málaga such as the Axarquía and the Montes de Málaga; in a band of verdiales, one of its members is called fiestero.
The proposal to pay homage to the party boy came from Agustín Jiménez in the 1990s.
