Chimisay or Socorro beach is a beach located in the municipality of Güímar on the island of Tenerife -Canary Islands, Spain-.
The beach has an important historical and cultural significance for being the place where the Guanches found the image of the Virgin of Candelaria years before the Castilian conquest, and for being celebrated in the vicinity of the traditional Pilgrimage of Socorro.
The beach area prepared for bathing is included since 2009 in the environment of protection of the Historic Site called Llano de la Virgen.
