The Alameda del Duque de Santa Elena was a promenade in the city of Santa Cruz de Tenerife. Nowadays it is practically an integral part of the Plaza de España. The environment has been recently restored following the project of the Swiss architects Herzog & De Meuron. The work has included the reconstruction of a replica of the portico of the Alameda, in the image of the original.
