Antequera beach is located on the southern coast of the Anaga massif, belonging to the municipality of Santa Cruz de Tenerife and located near Igueste de San Andrés.

It is characteristic for having a fine golden sand of volcanic origin, unusual on the island of Tenerife. Since there is no access by road, and on foot is very complicated, it is usually accessed by boat from Santa Cruz or San Andrés, counting the beach with a pier.

Its natural beauty and its difficult access make this beach a frequent destination for hikers and nudists.
