Facts and practical information

The gardens of the Mirador del Alcalde are located on Montjuïc mountain, in the Sants-Montjuic district of Barcelona. They were created between 1962 and 1969 with a gardening project by Joaquim Casamor, while the monumental fountain was designed by Carles Buïgas. Next to the Mirador del Alcalde is one of the stops of the Montjuïc cable car.
