Ermita de Sant Sebastià, Elche
Facts and practical information
The Municipal Museum of the Festa de Elche, Spain was created as a way to trap in space and time part of the magic that surrounds the Festa to make it known to those who visit the city throughout the year.
The Museum consists of two rooms: a static, purely expository, where some of the scenic tradition that surrounds the Mystery is collected, such as posters, models, crowns, costumes, guitars.. and other more dynamic, where the new technologies used, combine both visual images and smells and sounds typical of "La Festa", to relive in a visit to the museum all the emotion that comes with each representation.
Part of the museum is located in what was the Hermitage of San Sebastian, also closely linked to the Assumptionist drama and restored on the occasion of the creation of the museum.
