The necropolis of Arteara is an archaeological site of the pre-Hispanic culture of Gran Canaria in the Canary Islands, Spain. It is the largest cemetery Canarii, aborigines of Gran Canaria. It is located next to the village of Arteara, on the right bank of the Fataga ravine, in the municipality of San Bartolomé de Tirajana, in the south of the island. It consists of more than 809 tombs, built using the stones that cover the area, as a result of a spectacular collapse of the adjacent mountain called La Cogolla. It has an area of 137,535 m², surrounded at the beginning by a dry stone wall, which is still standing today and perfectly visible on several sides of the perimeter.
