Puig de Galatzó, Majorca

Puig de Galatzó is a 1027 meters high peak located in the Sierra de Tramontana. The peak is considered one of the best viewpoints of the island, since from the top you can see villages such as Estellenchs, Galilea, Puigpuñent, Capdellá, Calviá and also the city of Palma. Other mountains can also be seen from the summit: the Mola del Ram, the Mola de Planícia, the Moleta Rassa, the Mola del Puerto de Andrach, the Mola del Esclop and the Pinotells mountain range. On its slope is Les cases de Galatzó, a Mallorcan possession.

It serves as a delimiting element for three municipalities: Puigpuñent, Estellenchs and Calviá.
