Facts and practical information
The galacho of Juslibol is a natural area located on an aquifer of the Ebro River two kilometres from the rural district of Juslibol, in the municipality of Zaragoza, on the left bank of the Ebro, four kilometres upstream from the city of Zaragoza.
The core of the area is the gallery forest of the galacho or abandoned meander of the Ebro, which was formed on 2 January 1961 as a result of the greatest flood of the Ebro in the 20th century. For this reason it was the last gale of the Ebro to be formed. It is popularly known as "los galachos".
