The yew of Santibáñez de la Fuente is a tree of the species Taxus baccata found in the town of Santibáñez de la Fuente in the council of Aller, Asturias, planted in the square of the church of San Juan de Riomiera, as used to happen in these cases the tree was revered by the ancient communities, as it is supposed more than a millennium old, something that took advantage of the church to then build their temples next to him.
Its dimensions are 12 meters high, 15 m wingspan and 3.4 m perimeter. This millenary yew tree was declared a natural monument on 27th April 1995 and is therefore protected and included in the natural resources plan of Asturias.
