Santuario de Nuestra Señora del Rosario, Hellín

The sanctuary of Our Lady of the Rosary is located on the hill of the Castle and within the town of Hellín. Inside it houses the image of Our Lady of the Rosary, who is the patron saint of this town. Its origin is located in an old Mudejar hermitage built after the Reconquest. The present building is the result of the reconstruction carried out in the first half of the 18th century and the end of the 19th century. The chapel, the crypt and part of the temple belong to the Baroque period; the façade, the bell tower and the organization of the plan with its doorway and gate correspond to the eclectic nineteenth century.
