The Giraldillo is the popular name given to the sculpture, which allegorizes, in a feminine form, the Christian victory over the Arabs, and crowns the Giralda of Seville. However, it received the names of Faith, triumph of the church, Colossus of the victorious faith or Allegory of the fortress of Faith. It was made in 1568 by Bartolomé Morel.
