The Diocesan Museum of Barcelona - The Gaudí Exhibition Center is a museum of religious art, managed by the Diocesan Delegation of Cultural Heritage of the Archbishopric of Barcelona. It is located in the Plaza de la Catedral de Barcelona, in the Casa de la Pia Almoina. It was inaugurated as the Diocesan Archaeological Museum of Barcelona in 1916 and was installed on the ground floor of the Conciliar Seminary. Its first director was Manuel Trens. It was moved and opened to the public in the new space in 1991.
The museum conserves a collection of about 4000 works of art from churches of the archdiocese of Barcelona from Greco-Roman pieces to the present day. Its collection also includes pieces linked to the sacred work of the architect Antoni Gaudí.
