Monumento Natural Cueva del Gato, Sierra de Grazalema Natural Park

The cave of El Gato is actually the southern mouth of the speleological system called Hundidero-Gato system, although the whole system is usually known by the name of this, its most famous mouth. It is the most important system of Andalusia with more than 9000 m topographically and one of the largest in Spain, with permanent water, chasms, lakes, siphons and some danger because the heavy rains in the area vary the underground channel very quickly, coupled with the temperature of its waters, has led to the death of several people. It is considered of cultural interest, for its cave paintings, and natural monument.
