Bajamar is a coastal town in the northeast of the island of Tenerife -Canary Islands, Spain-, belonging to the municipality of San Cristóbal de La Laguna.
Administratively it is included in Zone 5 of the municipality.
It is a small tourist and holiday resort that stands out for its natural seawater pools.
Together with the towns of Valle de Guerra, Tejina and Punta del Hidalgo it forms a small district within the municipality. It was formerly considered a district of Tejina.
