The castle of Queralt is located on a cliff at the western end of the Queralt mountain range, in the south-western part of the region of Noya, near the dividing line with the Cuenca de Barberà, Alto Campo and Alto Panadés. In the tenth century and its strategic location, the castle represents the end of the Mark.
