Atmosphere is an abstract monument located in the Spanish city of Albacete.
It is a large-scale conceptual abstract representation of the gaseous layer that surrounds the Earth: the atmosphere. The elements of the sculpture include a body with a circular hollow, three arms, its horns and a steel head that resembles medieval masks.
Inaugurated in 2007, it is the work of the sculptors Quijano, Noguerol and Rivas in homage to the painter and sculptor Alberto Sánchez Pérez, spiritual father of the first Vallecas School together with the painter Benjamín Palencia from Albacete.
It is located on the roundabout of the Albacete ring road at the intersection with Mexico Street, southwest of the capital of Albacete.
