The Diocesan and Cathedral Museum of Valladolid is located inside the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Assumption in Valladolid, autonomous community of Castile and León, Spain.
It was inaugurated in 1965, on the initiative of the then Archbishop of Valladolid, José García y Goldaraz. Its collections are spread over eleven chapels, restored and conditioned for this purpose, which had a funerary character in the old Collegiate Church of Santa Maria.
It currently has more than 450 pieces including paintings, polychrome sculpture, gold and silver work and ivories. The Ecce Homo by Gregorio Fernández and the monstrance by Juan de Arfe stand out for their quality and for being representative of Spanish Baroque art.
