Facts and practical information
The Chapel of the Servants of Mary is a chapel located on Viera y Clavijo Street, next to the central building of the Town Hall of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, in the city of the same name on the island of Tenerife. This chapel houses the Iglesia Castrense Nuestra Señora de la Salud.
The present church, which dates from 1926, is located in what was the garden of the former convent of the congregation of the Servants of Mary. It is the work of Domingo Pisaca Burgada and was inaugurated by Bishop Fray Albino in October 1927. On a technical level, it is worth mentioning that the interior of the temple presents interesting polychromes with natural motifs, as well as imitations of marble of dissimilar quality. This chapel has been declared an Asset of Cultural Interest of the Canary Islands.
