Facts and practical information

The house of the Cid is a civil building of Romanesque style located in the city of Zamora. Since 1931 it has been protected by having been declared a historic-artistic monument. This building is located next to the Puerta Óptima, de Olivares or del Obispo, the latter denomination for being open next to the bishop's palace. It is therefore located in a privileged place of the old town, occupying part of the walls, allowing views of the Douro.
