Åbergs Museum is a comic book museum located in Bålsta. The museum was founded by Lasse Åberg in 2002 and is housed in a converted barn from the late 19th century near Väppeby farm.
The museum has one of the world's finest collections of Disney artifacts, mainly from 1928-1938. There is also a collection of objects related to the world's first cartoon character, The Yellow Kid, and other cartoon characters from the 20th century. In addition to many comic book originals by Burne Hogarth, Carl Barks, Robert Crumb, Tove Jansson and Hal Foster, among others, you can also see a lot of comic book-influenced art by artists such as Pablo Picasso, Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein and Jim Dine.
