Facts and practical information
Vaksala torg is a large square in the eastern part of central Uppsala, at Vaksalagatan.
The square is still bordered to some extent by older buildings, but the character of the square has changed since the construction of Uppsala Concert & Congress. Before Uppsala Concert & Congress was built, the so-called Bodénshuset was located here, as well as the adjacent Gerd block, a block of farm buildings whose oldest parts date back to the 18th century.
