When Is the Best Time To Visit Tuvalu?

Climate of Tuvalu
Tuvalu lies in an equatorial climate zone characterized by high air temperatures reaching 26°C - 32°C and high humidity. The water temperature throughout the year remains high and relatively constant at around 29°C. Rainfall occurs all year round and oscillates between 2500 mm - 3600 mm.
The islands can be distinguished between the rainy and dry seasons.
Most of the rainfall is recorded during the rainy season covering the summer months from November to March. It is then hot, often above 30°C, and steamy. Rainfall comes in the form of intense downpours accompanied by thunderstorms and increased winds. The number of days of sunshine decreases, but you can still count on sunshine breaking through.
The dry season covers the time from April to October, however, even then rain cannot be avoided. There is also precipitation along with thunderstorms, but they are not as frequent and intense as in the rainy season. The temperature is slightly cooler, around 26°C - 27°C, and the air is less humid and milder.
