Facts About Monument of Ten Commandments
The Monument of the Ten Commandments is a remarkable architectural landmark in Ukraine, situated in the Dzerzhinsk area near the Technical University. This monument was unveiled to mark the 15th anniversary of the Kryvyi Rih Eparchy.
The design of the monument is notably striking. It comprises eight granite slabs sculpted to resemble ancient clay tablets. These slabs are arranged such that their sizes progressively decrease from the center to the edges, creating a visually appealing effect. The central two plates, inscribed with Moses' Ten Commandments, are positioned to resemble the pages of an open book.
This exquisite architectural ensemble is located in a park at the intersection of Kostenko and XXII Partsezda Streets. It is a tranquil spot that invites reflection and admiration from all visitors.
