Arboretum Benedykt Dybowski - arboretum in Lviv, located at 12 Kubańska Street, in the Pohulanka district, in the Halicki region.
The arboretum was founded in 2010 in the area, which was previously the northernmost part of the Snopkowski Park. In addition, it covers the area of the former arboretum, which in 1910 was founded by the Polish botanist, dendrologist and zoologist Benedykt Dybowski. Until 1945, plants and trees grew here, which he received from around the world, and which managed to acclimatize in the local conditions. It was surrounded by the "White Dworek" villa built for him, which was founded in 1913 according to the design of Józef Sosnowski. The building has a four -column portico projection with a triangular front, currently houses the Youth Ecological Education Center. There is one of the largest in Ukraine and the largest dendrological collection in Lviv. There are 113 species of trees and shrubs here, many of them are over 150 years old, there is a CIS among them, which is entered in the Red Book of Ukraine. In addition, the collection of plants included in the Red Book of Ukraine and decorative herbaceous plants is growing here. About 130 species of animals live in the arboretum.
