Snopkivsky Park is a park in the Galician district of Lviv, a memorial of landscape art of local significance. The original name of the park was "Druzhba". In the 1990s, it was renamed into "Snopkivsky" after the name of the area Snopki, where it is located. The total area of the park is 35.66 ha.
Snopkivsky Park was founded in 1959-1963 between the streets Lipova Aleja, Stusa, Krymska and Zelenyi. Previously there was a wasteland, in the middle of which there were plaster and clay maps of the former cellar factories. The park was planted over 200 trees and picket fences, and a continuous flowering garden of 5 hectares and a rose garden with over 40 varieties of Trojandra. Trees and trees grow: chestnut, maple, cypress, oak, birch, birch, mountain pea, smeryka, pine, grand larch, Japanese scarlet, turquoise, snowball, thuja occidental and others. There are also maple, ash and chestnut alleys. There was a rose garden in the park.
The layout of alleys and paths is laid out in such a way as to more beautifully open up the park with a view of Lviv's most interesting places, as well as to ensure maximum capacity during mass events at the second largest stadium of the city, which is reached by spacious alleys.
