The Boromlya natural site is a zoological nature monument of great importance in Ukraine. It is located on the plains of Konotopsk district of the Sumy region, on the eastern side of the village of Khizhky.
Square of 55 hectares. Status - since 1975. Belongs to the Konotopsk Forestry.
It is a unique tract on the left bank of the Seimu River. The protected area is bordered from the east by an old river called Stary Seim, which becomes an island during the warmer seasons. Within the tract - 6 lakes with a surface of 0.3 to 3.3 hectares, as well as the forest massif. The shores of the water are covered with dingleberries and sedges. Grow 400-500-liter oaks, there are maples, lindens and other trees. Rich archery and marsh vegetation.
Included in the composition of the Regional Landscape Park "Seimsky".
