Lviv Circus of State /J. ukr: львівський державний цирк/ - Circus in Lviv, is located in a specially built facility at 83 Gródecka Street.
The circus building was built at the foot of the Świętojurska Mountain in 1969 according to the design of architects A. Bachmatow and M. Kaniewski. It is a rotunda with a cylinder, multi -story audience, covered with a dome roof. There are social rooms and toilets under the audience. The front of the building is a one -story hall with cash registers, an office and a waiting room. The circus has its own acting team, the attitude of the repertoire is animal performances. In addition, cultural and sports events and music concerts take place in the building. On the night of March 22-23, 2011, a fire broke out in the building, there were no victims, losses were valued at USD 500,000, after completing the repair work, the circus resumed the activity.
