Mikilska Church is the oldest and the only church in the city of Ukrainian architecture. The church is a typical trisubna trisubna Ukrainian church of Podilskyi architectural school of the Baroque age.
According to the lustration of 1554, there were five Orthodox churches in Vinnitsa: Pokrovka, Spaska, Kozmo-Demianska, Voskresenska, and Mykolska. In addition, the Jurivska church was at Velikiye Khutory and the Ivanovo Theologian church at Maliye Khutory. Until our time only the village Mikolska church has survived. Mikolska church is located in the area of Stary Vinnitsa.
