The Church of the Holy Trinity in Lubomel - the oldest Catholic temple in Volhynia.
The church was founded in 1412 by King Władysław Jagiełło. After the seizure of Volhynia by the Soviet army, the church was closed and was used as a salt warehouse until the early 18 seventies. In the years 1971–1974 a porch and side chapel were demolished. In 1944, Fr. Stanisław Jastrzębski was taken by the wonderful picture of the Mother of God Lubomel in the vicinity of Kraśnik. He found himself in the church. Saint. Jan Vianney in Polichna.
In 1992, after Ukraine regained independence, the church was returned to the faithful. Franciscans from Kowel look after him. In 1996, an enthronement of a copy of the miraculous picture took place in the church.
The church building is small, single -nave, with a semi -circular apse without a tower. In the immediate vicinity of the church there is a stone belfry from 1764.
