The Post Office Building is a one-tower, classicist style building in Kiev on Post Office Square, a memorial of history and architecture. It was built in 1853-1865 years as the main building of the complex Podilsk post office station, the only structure of the complex, which has survived to this day.
In 1963, under the decree of the Republic of Moldova of the USSR № 970 of 24.08.1963 the post office building was placed under the protection of the state and acquired the status of a monument of national importance.
Used as an exhibition hall of the Reserve "Ancient Kiev", there is a permanent exhibition "To the history of self-government in Kiev.
