Le Trépied Dolmen, Saint Martin

Le Trépied-a neolithic corridor tomb located in the Saint-Sauveur parish on the island of Guernsey.
The tomb is 5.5 m long, height 1.3 m and width of up to 2 meters. It consists of a bottle -shaped grave, covered with three ceiling boulders supported on support stones. During archaeological works carried out in 1840 by F.C. Lukisa inside the tomb was discovered by human bones, two flint caves from a shot and ceramics from the cultural cup culture. These finds are associated with the last phase of use of the object, and the tomb itself is much older and was created about 3000-2000 BC.
