Lake Taminah is located in Grand Teton National Park, in the U. S. state of Wyoming. This alpine lake is a.5 miles northeast of Mount Wister and a little over a half mile south of Cloudveil Dome Lake Taminah lies within Avalanche Canyon and is.5 miles east and almost 1,000 feet lower in elevation than Snowdrift Lake. Lake Taminah is along a route often taken by climbers attempting to gain access to various mountain peaks, though the trails are not maintained. Near the outlet from Lake Taminah lies Shoshoko Falls, which later flows into Taggart Creek. ()
