Hawaii State Library
The Hawaiʻi State Library is a historic building in Honolulu, Hawaii, that serves as the seat of the Hawaiʻi State Public Library System, the only statewide library system and one of the largest in the United States.
Hamilton Library
The Hamilton Library at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa is the largest research library in the state of Hawaii. The Library serves as a key resource for the flagship Manoa campus as well as the other University of Hawaii system campuses.
Hawaii State Public Library System
The Hawaiʻi State Public Library System is the only statewide public library system in the United States. The flagship Hawaiʻi State Library, built in 1911 and designed by architect Henry D. Whitfield, was funded in part by industrialist and philanthropist Andrew Carnegie. It is a historic downtown Honolulu building.
