Villa Dolores is a neighborhood in the southeast of the Uruguayan city of Montevideo. Its name pays homage to Dolores Pereira de Rossell who, along with her husband, Alejo Rossell y Rius, donated in 1912 the farm where today is located one of the two zoological parks of the Municipality of Montevideo and the municipal planetarium.
